ABOUT THE
AUTHOR Anita was born in a small village on the North-East Coast of England where she spent many happy days until the age of seven when her family moved to Australia. She was always an imaginative and involved student throughout her high school years which were unfortunately cut short due to ill health, thereby offering her the time to devote to becoming an even more avid reader. Later she was able to commence a lengthy career as a public servant, during which time she met her life partner. It was only after meeting Maureen at age 20 that she returned to complete her Studies. Anita graduated with her BA (Sociology/Politics/Philosophy) & later an MA (Women’s Studies) from Victoria’s Monash University. Anita and Maureen then spent over thirty blissful years together in their small home in the inner suburbs of Melbourne. They both enjoyed travelling, sailing and sharing their time with an array of pet cats. Her writing initially consisted of short stories, and poetry (along with numerous articles for professional journals). However since taking early retirement following her partner’s death in 2007, her first novel ("Fragments of Life") finally burst out of its shackles. Her current major pastimes (apart from further writing); include still travelling whenever possible, and settling into a new home in a Victorian coastal village. LATEST NEWS
